Sunday, January 1, 2012: Day at Sea

Relaxing day and evening at sea.  Having a blast!  I think we all agree, that was the best New Year's Eve ever!  We all slept in, ate breakfast and headed to pool. Frank and I had been surprised with massages as a gift from some friends.  It was my first massage and I really enjoyed it, although I was very sore for a couple of days afterwards.  Several hours into the day...Curtis starts asking if anyone has seen Sarah and Ashley.  Well, thinking they were just late as usual we didn't start worrying, until we realized it was late afternoon and we hadn't seen them.  Katy, Macy and I search the entire ship for 45 minutes to find them.  That was my first understanding of Sheri describing "flat tires" walking with the girls!  I can't tell you how many times I lost my flip flops!  My imagination started running away with me and I just knew the cabin steward (he was a bit on the weird side)  had thrown Sarah and Ashley off the balcony! Katy and Macy were worried because they had planned on an arcade visity and just knew the big girls wouldn't forget that.  Finally, after actually seeing Frank a little alarmed, we went into their room from the balcony, Ashley opens their door...Wow was I relieved to see one of them!  Later that evening at dinner, as we sat down to dinner, Katy looks across at them and says with a tilt of her head "nice to see you two for the first time today!" Needless to say, all "numbers" checked in before going about their own way, from that point on! After dinner, we saw the comedian show, then spent the evening at the casino, some arcade action, hanging out at some of the lounges (I was still depressed I didn't find Kory) and enjoying the Promenade.

We had yet to have a "library" incident, but almost as close...Mike, Curtis and Ashley stayed up gambling and went for the nightly dose of pizza.  Whatever you do, don't pass out drunk in a pizza parlor with them around!  They found a drunk man, passed out in his chair at the table and actually sat with him and took their pictures!
