Christmas Is Over
The snow is still on the ground
A week after the hustle and bustle
But few are around...
It all started a day ahead of plans
The family arrived
With presents
In all of the vans
Arrivals were changed
The airlines were calling by the hour
Uncle Mike was researching
For the best flight to be arranged
Christmas still arrived
As usual in December
Even though Curtis was
Still stranded in Denver
The food was spread thin
No one could venture out
But, everyone was content
With their portions and amounts
The poems were read
Pajamas were precious
Nana was surprised beyond reason
What a memorable season
Thank you, my family
I hope the feelings of joy
Continue with each of you!
Well, now our next journey begins! Sure to provide another year of joyful memories!
I have heard the quote: Memories happen, they are not made. But, I have to think that in our busy lives...without effort to plan and be together, whether it's a moment from one of the kids growing up, being snowed in, a graduation, a beautiful wedding, just a weekend of girl fun...those memories don't happen. Love to all of my Joyriders for Jesus - I can't wait!
We will be boarding the Royal Carribean ship the "obsesdpassengersofdisorder", sailing throught the Carribean, (grows on a leafy sprawling plant), anyway, I'm sure Sheri, Sarah, Curtis, Katy, Macy and I will be sitting back relaxing and wtching the doers of CAOS wreck havoc on the poor people of the Bahamas. I will attempt to blend in and avoid conflict.
ReplyDeleteThat being said! The great thing about this trip is I get to spend it with my family and enjoy Christmas with the loved ones. This comment was actually posted by Captain Stuvvy!
